Got a triple whammy from MINI. Took the car in for hard starting and temp indicator. HPFP has failed - covered under MINI ext warranty. Carbon build up and cam timing off $692 to walnut blast the valves. $400 to reset cam timing and program the car. WP and Thermostat are leaking $473 for thermostat and $969 for WP and friction pulleys. Oil change and few other things bill is over $2800. This only 7000 miles after spending $over $4000 on a new turbo that failed due to carbon build up in the oil line. Now I am told there is service campaign for a heat shield of the same oil line.


I am regretting buying this car at all. It spends its days going 15 min from my house to the train station and back.
