Real World Fuel Economy/MPG: Paceman
Countryman has a thread like this and I thought we should start one too.
My info: Paceman S All4 6MT. 75% highway driving, sport mode engaged, 24.5 MPG no matter what I do. If I turn off sport mode I never get better then maybe 1-2mpg so for that I sacrifice the mpg for fun.

Thanks but I didnt start the thread due to concern, more because I want to see what us paceman owners are getting overall. Hopefully after the break in period I will see better mpg, but I also think my driving habits have somthing to do with it.
Just over 7,700 miles -- I'm averaging around 27 mpg fairly regularly. Probably about 60-40 highway to city; but my highway commutes lately have also been a LOT of stop-and-go, which frustrates the crap out of me making me tend to stomp on it harder when I do eventually get to go. So I think it could do better if I could get to do some actual highway miles on the highway.
I've got just under 4000 miles on mine, getting a solid 24 to 25, 80% city, 20% highway. Sport mode on maybe 15% of the time. Made a couple of longer highway trips, got upwards of 28-30. I'm not easy on the gas during take-offs. My NM lowering springs just came in today so I'm hoping for a little bit of an increase once I get those installed!
around 4000 miles mostly non highway driving and I'm getting consistently mid 25mpg when I do take it for longer on the highway I'm seeing 28-30mpg depending on traffic. Manual Transmission

Sounds like me, I'm getting the same kind of results, but I'm hard on take off as well.
I'm alot like arsci and gremlin. I do a bunch of in-town driving back and forth to work. I'm at 7,500 miles and I usually get around 24-26 in town. I don't drive too much with the sport mode on, but I do like to punch it from time to time! On the few times I've taken long highway trips, I can usually get 28-30.

All4 Paceman S,
I am at 4000 miles and averaging 24.7mpg, One day I tried not going over 2,500 RPM and got around 30 mpg. But that only happened one day and it was a very boring day. Need to get over 3,500 RPM on the highway or city. Love this car.
