I have a 2007 R56 with Nav and bluetooth.

For the last few weeks I had an issue where the bluetooth modulke would stop recognizing my phone at times (and work fine other times). Couple of days ago it completely stopped recognizing my phone or any other. The pairing just didnt work.

Took it to the dealer today and they tried to reset it but came back with -- the bluetooth telematics may have to be replaced and costs $900+

What are my options here?? Ideally I would like continued use of the MFSW with a cheaper aftermarket option assuming I have to put in something new (if the numbers show up on the nav screen thats an added bonus).

My mini is doing the same except mine is 2011. What did they do?
