We just picked up our Mini last week and while detailing her this weekend, I have noticed that the door sills read Mini One. I know that the MCS sills read cooper s and was curious about our sills. I would think that they would say Mini Cooper. Has anyone else experienced this and is this the way that they are supposed to be? Just curious...

Uh oh. Another boo-boo. This sounds a lot like the recent Cooper owner who got chrome bumper inserts only on one bumper -- not both front and back as he ordered.

I don't think MINI Ones are being sold in the US or are they planned to be. My Cooper has sills that read "MINI Cooper".

Talk to your dealer. If you want this changed, demand it now or at least demand some cash or free stuff. MINI USA should also be notified that QA oversight on the Oxford assembly line is breaking down.

Not a big deal, just wondering what everyone here thought about it. I personally thought that it might be an unusual thing to keep on the car. Things like this usually get collectors all ruffled up. Just a thought. Thanks for the input though.

Good point. Now it's a collector's item. Unfortunately, you've removed it from its original carton and packaging...

I just purchased a set of factory MCS running boards. I will sell them to you if you are interested. E-bay is a wonderful place!
