Drive-N-Eat "Chasing the Turkey"

Mark your calenders for Sunday November 24th.
It's time to "Chase the Turkey"

We will meet at the Vincentown Diner at the intersection of Rt206 and Rt38. The time is 9:00. After breakfast we will head out to enjoy some South Jersey Twisties

And maybe chase down some of those wild turkeys that seem to be everywhere.

Count us in! Our MINI is due to make landfall on the 29th so we should definitely be prepared for this next run. By the way, how was the Monmouth County ride on Saturday? I stopped in to introduce myself (sans a MINI) and went on to do boring normal stuff when you all started. What was the best "hand" of the day?

Everyone had a great time. And the winning hand was a pair of Aces.

Ok......it's just about time.
A couple of reminders and such.
If you are coming for breakfast, the diner is usually busy on Sunday mornings, you might want to be there by 8:00.
If you are not coming for breakfast, there is a Wawa across the street. We will meet over in their back parking lot between 9-9:30.
There is gas at the Wawa and across the street is a Sunoco station for all you "I gots to have 93 octane" people. (that would be me)
Bring you camera.
We ride rain or shine!!!

See everyone on Sunday morning.

With Sunday's predicted temps of only 33 degrees, I'm going to have to bail out of the run. We don't have our "winter shoes" yet and from what I've read about the OEMs on our car it would be unsafe (dangerous per one reviewer) to ride on them near or below freezing temps. Looks like I can't come out to play until we get winter attire or spring! If the temps are higher than predicted we'll be there - if not, have a great time. We'll be thinking about everyone!
