Are all DP's the same from 2007 to 2014?

I just picked up my GP2 #295 tonight. I'm curious will a 2007 to 2013 aftermarket downpipe fit all R56's hardtops? Does the N14 and N18 use the same DP?
Thanks guys

Just realized no one answered your question yet. Yes N14 and N18 R56 use the same DP.

Check out Way Motor Works. They have a great deal on a catless DP for $299.00 right now. Sale ends when surplus runs out. About to order one myself. Seamless welds and doesn't look like it was cobbled together from 6 different sections of pipe not to mention the thicker flange.

Are you sure about this?

The part numbers for the OEM DP/Catalytic converter is different on the different years.

The alignment angles for the connection at the turbo and the exhaust pipe are pretty precise. Its not like you can move the turbo flange.

Way, what's your opinion on your catless DP coupled with your upgraded exhaust manifold?

Both are going to gain power but actual gain will have many other factors like boost and tuning. The Akrapovic will be quieter than the catless

The part numbers are different, but I know for fact they all fit the same as I've put aftermarket downpipes on all years MINI and they fit every time

It will be a pretty good bump in power, and low end grunt

Planning on picking up the manifold when I install the 42mm KO3 hybrid Just not in the budget right now (planning on a nice surprise for the wife). Had another idea to help with the bottom end though. I just ordered the WMW upgraded recirc valve. Hopefully with the boost coming on a little quicker/sooner that should help offset some of the loss in low end torque from the de-catted DP. Planning on testing this soon and will post results.
