R56 Need Turbo Oil/Coolant Banjo Bolts ASAP
Need Turbo Oil/Coolant Banjo Bolts ASAP
I received my rebuilt turbo last week, and pushed the car back onto the lift at the shop, bolted everything up and then realized that I don't have any of the oil or coolant line banjo bolts anymore! These are the only parts I still need to finish the job!
I may have put them back into the turbo before sending in for rebuild (this is what I think is the case) or just put them into a baggie and misplaced, either way I don't have them!
realoem gives me the part numbers but not the sizes. My local dealer is having an issue with their shipping company and doesn't know when they will be able to get the parts in.
Does anyone know what the size/pitch of these hollow banjo bolts (PN's 07119905176 and 07119905973) are and where I might be able to find them before Friday in NY Metro area?
I have the car up on the lift now, but someone else has it reserved for the whole week starting saturday morning. It would really be a pain to have to push it back into the corner and wait another week to finish.

Have you tried all the local auto parts shops? Try brake shops too because they use a lot of banjo bolts. ECS Tuning shows both of those banjo bolts in stock. They are in Ohio but may be able to overnight them to you.

Yep, I called Tyrol Sport here in Brooklyn and they might be able to dig up a set this afternoon for a morning pickup. I can ride my bike out to them in 30 mins from my place.
If they don't have them, then I'll try some other options.

We have a picture of the item with the ruler.

Don't have the measurement but should be close to the one above. Maybe a little longer.
Thanks
