An interesting question from a local forum. How many autocross have you done this year, and how many more do you plan on?

I've done 13 so far, as well as 2 schools and a fun run. 4 events and a school to go. November is going to be busy.

That's 9 with the local (SFR) chapter of the SCCA, and 3 to go.
1 with the Fresno chapter, and a school.
3 with the BMW club plus a fun run and a school, 1 to go.

Since I wrote the answer the next school looks to have been cancelled.

 

One and probably no more before January as I need to receive and breakin the Roadster. It has been a long drought since 2011 due to medical issues making travelling iffy.

Tosh broke all my records for attendance anyway.

 

8 events and 2 schools at Devens MA this year. 1 more event to go. Between the SCCA NER, Miata, BMW and Porsche clubs, there's usually 1 or 2 events every weekend!

 

I'm too lazy to count them all up but my event breakdown is something like....

1 evo school phase 2
1 SCCA Solo nationals
1 DC ProSolo
2 SCCA test n tunes totaling 35-ish runs
1 Porsche event
2 BMW events
7 SCCA events
5 autocrossers incorporated events
17-ish capital driving club events

So something around 37 events so far. Still have one AI event and the Hershey double event. That's probably it. Then it's time to put the stock suspension back on the mini so we can send the TCK coils back to be rebuilt (again...).

Man, you guys are dedicated. I can't make that many events until I am retired! I made 1 evo school phase 1, 9 autocrosses, and we have one more fun event coming up. I am planning on going to the national event in Nebraska next year. It was a fun season for me, I took top PAX points for the season in our region and one my class at every event. Small class sizes but still feel a good sense of accomplishment.

 

I have only done 4, which is about normal for me. The end of the season gets a bit hectic for me with track events that become available during the weekends when the autoX events are run. The last one is on my birthday, but that day is promised to my kids and grand kids...family first for me

I made it to 10 OR Region events at PDX and Packwood.
My 2 year old (now) Dunlop Z1's made for a fun, but not competitive season. I'll have some Z2's for next year.
I am now experiencing autocross withdrawal. Can't wait until March!

 

5 events for me!! Gonna miss this weekends event for a family B-day gathering. Hope to make last event of year next month..

 

16 this year, and put over 27k on the new Gollum. Too much fun but DAMN if I keep that up he'll be knackered before I've paid for him!

Eleven so far plus a two day Evo school. Only one more event on the calendar for this year. We can only get the venue one day a month or I would do more.

 

I ran in 18 events this year.... that is about the all my family will tolerate!

 

What happened to the MINI autox scene? A decade ago, you'd see almost as many MINIs as Miatas. Now, I rarely see any...
