Worked just fine. I have done it twice on this MINI and on other cars too. the MINI headlight is easy, 5-7 min in 200F was all I needed. If the rubber sealant hardens again, just a few minutes back in the oven. Not sure what lights you have but don't paint the reflector.
worked fine for me. Used heat gun instead of putting headlight in the oven. Just print out the instructions and follow along as you do it. pretty easy once you get over the fear factor of taking them apart..

absolutely. once you start to see the housing separate from the cover, you know you've got it. heat gun is a cheap tool and really the perfect thing to use for this mod
Did this to mine before my accident and had no issues, also agree with heat gun. Would of done it on my second set but insurance got me the black housing bixenon
