What mods are you considering?

Owning an R50 in addition to my JCW R60, I modded the crap out of my R50. With the R60 though, it is so sweet right out of the box I am not sure there is much more performance wise to it. I lightened the wheels and ditched the runflats. Are there other performance mods others have done that they would recommend, or mods others are thinking of doing?

I think you and I have a similar mind set...

I have a 2006 Cooper Checkmate which is heavily modified, and a 2013 JCW Countryman.

At the moment I am tempted by the DoS intake for the JCW but am wanting to hear more sound clips from people. Other considerations would be to replace the brake pads with something less 'dusty'.

I agree with the brake pads. With white wheels, the dust from the stock pads is brutal. Does the DoS intake give it a bit more growl? My R50 sounds much tougher than my R60. My dogs can hear my Cooper coming from a block away and I can almost sneak up on them in my Countryman.

Just got a R55 JCW and contemplating rear sway to start along with some black out items. Then come the coilovers, ECU piggyback and will ditch the run flats when they wear out or as long as I can stand them. Got black wheels, what is brake dust?

I figured it would be good to know what's going on before I do any mods so I installed a Scan Gauge II to Sprocket today.

I'm struggling with the same question as the OP. I kind of want an intake but if I'm being honest mostly I want it for more auditory turbo goodness. I'm a little bummed that the Burger JB+ isn't for JCWs because that would be a great start. Probably going to grab a WMW rear sway bar and then maybe some KW V3s down the road.

Anyone know if the NM engineering boost pipes are worth it?
