Does the factory roof rack of a clubman fit a countryman with roof rails??

anyone know?

 

Pretty sure the answer is no since the rails are quite different.

Anchoring is not the same, as the CM rails are flush mounted.

 

nope. won't fit. i own both. clubman uses rain gutter mount. countryman has a custom base plate that is contoured to match the countryman rails. profiles are totally different.

 

There's two types on the Clubman. The rain gutter that you mentioned, but you can also get roof rails from the factory so it's closer to how the countryman is. Still not compatible though.

 

Generally, I think you will find that nothing on the Austrian MINIs is compatible with the English MINIs. They're concieved and birthed way to close too the Home Land.

 

There is one for the Clubman with roof rails and one without roof rails.

They look close but I believe they will not fit dimensions.

In the pictures the inside mounting point on the Clubman rack for roof rails is shorter than the Countryman rack...

 

trust me, it does not fit. I tried.

Aside from the mounting point and the rails being completely different, the clubman rack bars are shorter than the ones for the CM
