replacement ignition/door key

Our spare ignition/door key for our 2011 Countryman S went missing and, in searching at a parts dealer, was told we had to purchase from the dealer[at a cost of $200] Are there less expensive options available?
Thanks for your help.

As posted previously by yours truly:

If you need to REPLACE the key for a new one, call the BMW key hotline at 888-575-5397. I paid $163 for a replacement and it was shipped overnight to my house.
I had called several Mini dealers and they all wanted between $350-400 and I would have to make 2 trips, one to order it and then to pick it up.

Thanks. Now my wife doesn't have to feel so guilty for losing it. OTOH, she reminded me of my $92 speeding ticket!

Regards,

update

Want to update this info. This option for key replacement only works if you're a California resident. Otherwise, referral is to local dealer.

Where are you where speeding tickets cost $92? Mine is way more than that

We have them for $146.64 total. $119.74 for the fob and $36.90 for the spare insert. If the car has comfort access they that would move it up to 203.34 total. Keep in mind if the car has comfort access the car would have to be programmed by a dealership.
