Passenger grab handle, drivers side?

I was wondering, could I replace my drivers's side flap down mini sun visor with another passenger side grab handle? Is it a direct replacement? Any idea on where to find the right part number for that?

Easiest way to find out is to try it yourself. Remove your visor and passenger grab handle. Install grab handle on driver's side. Done and done.

I believe the grab handle fits on either side. think RHD UK home market cars.

Looks like the RHD UK handle is the same part number 51167129686 ( Gray ) on the left side, I remember US MINIs did not come with the grab handle till 7/2004+ on the right hand side. Also people with 7/2004+ have added the sun-visor to the passenger side.

Front Grab Handle - Gray ( R50 R53 7/2004 - 2006 )

Front Grab Handle - Panther Black ( R50 R53 7/2004 - 2006 )

So I don't see why it would not work. +1 for testing with the swap from right to left.

Thanks

Hey, my car seems more of a cream color inside. Is that considered grey/gray?

Big Canoe - just saw your sig, this is Gen 1 forum section, you have a Gen 2 MINI 8/2010+ (2012) and you have a "LIGHT BEIGE" interior , its more cream color compared to the horizon gray. Not a problem. Here is the part.

Here is the part:

Maybe the mods can move the thread to Gen 2.

You are welcome, did not see your sig at first. You have the part linked above, let us know how it goes. Two screws and it should pop out.

Hope the mods will move it for you.

Thanks
