R60 Spring/ Shock Absorber difference between sport and standard suspension?
Spring/ Shock Absorber difference between sport and standard suspension?
What are differences between sport and standard suspension? Do they carry a different part number for the springs and shock absorbers?
Also, If I remembered correctly, I heard that the Paceman handles differently from the countryman?
and the center of gravity is about one inch lower?
How is that possible? Why does it drive different? Is the paceman's standard suspension setup same as the sports one in the ctm?
Thanks

The springs, dampers, and sway bars are different with the SS option. The Paceman has the SS option as standard (same as optional SS on CM), and normal CM suspension optional. The SS cars sit 10 mm lower (.4"). Sway bar is 1 mm larger on rear for SS. In front sway bar is 2 mm larger for SS. Shock(damper) valving is different.

That is incorrect...the Paceman has the Standard Suspension...UNLESS you specified the Sport Option. I know MINI and several mags stated otherwise, but that is not the case. Anytime I built one online the default was the standard suspension.
I am told the Sport is 10mm lower than the standard, not sure about the struts/shocks.
