R60 Looking for Cure for Uncomfortable Seats
Looking for Cure for Uncomfortable Seats
My Countryman is equipped with those leather/cloth seats with lumbar support. I am 6'2'' and I just cannot find a comfortable sitting position. My commute is about 45 min and after 20 min of driving my back is so soar that the rest of the way I find myself fiddling with the seat controls. I tried using a back seat cushion but that does not help either. However, when I ride as a passenger in my Countryman or Justa I have no problem sitting comfortably. I have gotten so upset with this issue that I sometimes find myself browsing BMW for sale listings looking for 3 series equipped with power seats.
I really do not want to trade the car just because of this issue and I was wondering if someone else ran into this problem and what was their solution.

I have the same seats. At 6' 225lbs, it was somewhat hard to find a comfortable position. I have just over an hour commute each way myself. I found that I am more comfortable with the lumbar pushed out to almost max, and I sit very upright compared to any other car I have own.
