Anyone know of a convertible being parted out anywhere? I replaced the sunroof cables after one side stopped working, but now I've run into a bigger problem. Towards the rear of the sunroof there are small black hook-shaped thingies that are pushed to the rear to unlock the frame (see pictures). You know, when your sunroof slides back and stops, then slides back another few inches....it's that few inches that I have the problem. It unlocks from the windshield just fine, but it just doesn't unlock the frame to fold in half. I've searched all of the dealer parts breakdowns, and this little plastic piece isn't offered except as part of the entire frame assembly.

This piece isn't visible unless you take off the inside trip piece, and only then can you see the lower tab visible. You'll have to remove the upper dust shield and possible pull the fabric back to see the entire thing. The black piece is attached to a stainless steel flat rod of some type, so I'll buy that whole section of the frame if necessary. You can see the broken pieces from mine, and you can see where I've tried gluing it back together with no luck.

I'm hoping someone is parting out a wrecked one or knows of one in a salvage yard somewhere. I just need to find it, then we can talk about how to get it apart and how much $$. This is for my daughter's car, and I know she's dying to put the top down. Right now only the sunroof works.

Oh BTW, this is my first post but I've visited this site on several occasions to figure out the best way to tackle a problem. The car has 160k on it, and I just can't justify the $$ for a new frame. I'm a big DIY'er and won't pay for repairs unless I have to.
