This year the featured marque at Watkins Glen and the Grand Prix is the MINI. We are one week away now. The event starts 9/6 with laps on the classic Grand Prix course followed events the next two days. Saturday night includes a MINI lap on the track. Clubs from New York will be attending various events throughout the weekend. Who else will be attending the event? They expect a large turnout of MINI's. Thanks and see you there!

 

I'll be there with 8-9 others from our local group. They have something like 120+ cars signed up for Fridays event.

 

About 30 cars coming from C3M & Carlisle MINI.

 

What day will you be there minirab?

 

I am so bummed out cause I will not be able to attend this great happening!

Hope that those who do attend will be kind enough to share with those of us who are unable to be there and bask in all the MINI/Mini happiness.

Motor On!

 

Everyone is going up Thur. at different times. I was lucky enough to get

crew credentials for a Lola T70 that will be racing, can't get any closer

to the action than that!

 

That's great. We scored some VIP tickets and will be in the infield in Tower B. I think they said its near the "S" curves. Been there opening day before . To be there for the racing will be something different. My son's a photographer and will be taking photo's that we could perhaps post. We'll be taking both MINI's to the event. Hope to see a few of you there.
