TCE/Wilwood Countryman BBK

Greetings all!

Wanted to "throw you a bone" and let Countryman owners know that I happen to have an extra set of drilled and slotted rotors laying around for our 14" kit. They are really lonely here and need to be used in something!

Normally the TCE Plus 2 Countryman kit retails for $1729 plus $135 for the drilled option, total $1864. I'm looking to package these rotors into a kit for a total shipped price (US only) of $1700. Black or Red your choice. Rear kits also available.

*Limited to one kit, first come first served!

Give me a shout! Let's get these parts a home!!

*** Offer expires Sept 1st. I have wrongly stated the rotors here; they are not the required ones for the Countryman. However in good faith I'll leave this open ended for a couple days. If you were thinking about this 14" kit then jump soon as it's not the deal I was hoping for! lol

Wilwood BBK on Countryman

Had mine installed about a month ago. The performance exceeded all of my expectations. With my stock 17" tunnel spokes I did need wheel spacers and longer lugs, both of which came at the expense of Next Day Air shipping because the car was sitting on the lift. Other than that the installation went well and I am extremely happy with the look and feel.

Wilwood BBK

It's now listed by Todd as the "Plus 4". Not sure if that was always the case but they now give the disclaimer about modifications needed. In hindsight these were small hiccups that were easily overcome. It also helps to have a mechanic who is patient!

Yes the DP6 is the Plus 1 kit. That caliper will not fit a larger rotor, thus the change over to the FNSL6 when we do the 14" kit.

We've sold a couple of the combo rear kits but yet to do a rear rotor kit (Plus1) Nice. But strange. Like to get one in service and final fit if anyone it interested.

Does the wilwood brake kit fit stock 18inch rims? The black 5 spokes one. Or do I need spacers?

Not 100% certain but I believe they've fit most things thus far.

The 13 and 14" kits have different calipers thus different clearance requirements.

DIIM A:

13"DP6 .820"
14" FNSL6 .965

Due to demand I've decided to keep the 13" Front BBK on the TCE menu!

Plans were to deplete inventory and concentrate on the 14" flavor however the added price point has been a hurdle for some wanting to know if we can offer something a bit less expensive....BOOM!

Our 13" DP6 kit meets those goals and offers a great value for anyone wishing or needing to keep 17s for their Winter tire use. The DP6 is the most wheel friendly caliper you'll find for clearance needing only 22mm of spoke clearance vs 25mm for the 14" kit. The DP6 offers a stiff body design with it's fixed bridge and great wear rates with its differential bore spec. While standard colors are BLACK and RED we can offer up to 24 custom colors for those who want something special.

The 13" (12.88) rotor is robust enough for all but the most hard core track day use featuring a directional casting and Wilwood's proprietary Spec-37 iron compound resisting warpage and creating a stable heat sink. Standard finish is slotted only and drilled/slotted can be had for an additional fee. These rotors are shod with Wilwood BP10 performance street pads but easily optioned to even hard core race compounds. Of course all TCE kits ship with our MINI spec ss flex lines with a direct fit chassis end- no funky adapters. All this goodness from under $1400!

What's stopping you??

Bracket production for the 13" Countryman kits is complete. Been thinking about pulling the trigger now's the time!

Build time is about a week pending your choice of rotor finish and caliper color.
