Mystery radiator fitting! Help!

Okay so I was at the autoX, running well. Got five runs in and something started banging around.

Got off the track to see coolant oozing from underneath. Popped the bonnet to learn that a bolt holding the TSW motor mount dog bone to the strut tower had worked its way out, breaking the mount and allowing the engine to flop around.

The flopping apparently pulled on the radiator hose enough to damage the fitting on the radiator that it connects to.

The fitting has an o-ring between itself and the upper corner of the radiator where it is secured with two 8mm bolts.

I need this part, but cannot find it on the Internet, nor does the parts guy at local dealership have any idea. Apparently it doesn't exist.

Can anyone lend some guidance?

TIA!!!

Its part of the radiator and there is no separate part number I could find.

There is an upper neck and a lower neck.

MINI R52 Cooper S and R53 Cooper S Radiator. part number 17117570489

I even looked on the Justa Cooper side to see if there was a part separate from that and could not find anything.

Thanks

It's a 2006 cooper S with factory JCW.

It seems insane that this part would not be sold separately. It's attached with bolts and has an o-ring.

If this plastic part fails or the o-ring fails, I have to buy an entire radiator?!

Time to find a junkyard with a mini in it. Wow.

Did it damage any of the threads going into the side of the radiator, for the bolts ? Or just the neck itself ?

You need to find someone (like me) that is in the midst of replacing their radiator. Contact me in a week or so and I might have the part for you.
