Color Lettered Tires

Does anyone know of any tires that actually have white or yellow lettering on them from the store? I know you can color them in yourself, but I was just wondering if anyone knows of any brands that do this. I've been trying to look for myself and I haven't found a lot. I'm not even sure if I want them at this point, but I would like to see how they'd look

Which MINI do you have? What size wheels?

There are not many to choose from.

see
http://blog.tirerack.com/blog/motors...-or-street-rod

BF Goodrich Radial T/A Performance All Season tire
195/60-15 $114 each, 87 load rated, Only S speed rated which is low for a MINI, usually you want at least H speed rated. There are only sizes in 14" and 15" wheel diameters.

Otherwise you have to paint the tires yourself.

I dont know why people do it in the first place, unless your on a real race tire or on contract with a certain brand.....

or you can be a wannabe racer and run contingency stickers on your fenders if you want to rep a tire brand

Yea it makes me laugh too. People paying 15 dollars for some aftermarket brand plate bracket lol. Yea ok let me pay you money to advertise for your company-makes complete sense.

Not sure how old everyone here is but if you look back in time, most tires used to be white walls, then white letters, and now just black walls. Though some people used to turn the white walls and letters to the inside to get the black wall look. White letters look good on some cars, might be cool if you actually colored them in paint color even, depending on color of car of course. Seen it done at a car show one time..
Those that think of it as advertising did you debadge your whole car? No Cooper letters, no MINI logos etc, your after market wheel centers? If your worried about the tires lets get it all off...

I'm not worried about the tires(I'm pretty sure this is aimed at me). I will never pay to advertise someone's company beyond the initial money already needed for a part. Understanding the value of a dollar and being flat out of a fanboy for a company isn't a fine line it's black and white. The problem is that the fanboys outnumber the people that understand the concept I'm describing which in turn makes high priced parts acceptable.

Want me to give you 1000+ dollars for a performance part and an additional 20 for some plate bracket? NO....give me the plate bracket; and I'll contemplate advertising your company based on the transaction. Charging someone 5 dollars for a sticker that costed the company 50 cents to make after someone ordered a set of wheels? You f'in kidding me? A company would be LUCKY to have he/she throw on a sticker as well as the centercaps that are probably already on the car. In the Honda community there are fanboys that pay 90 dollars for a spoon banner even after shelling out a couple grand from their site. Why? People will pay it. For every logical person out there, there's 5 other fanboys with middle/upper middle class who don't think about opening their wallets.

Funny thing is the OP was just asking for white/yellow lettered tires. and a couple of people blew that into stickers, contingency money etc. It wasn't about that at all. Just some tires. The name is already there just wanted it raised and colored. Which as he is finding out is getting harder to find in some sizes.. I agree on the cost of the sticker, I work in the Sign Industry and know what vinyl stripes, signs, bulk vinyl costs and it's crazy to see what some are charging for it but it's the American way. The ones that can afford it out number the ones that can't or said company would go out of business.. Black and White vinyl by the roll is roughly .50-ish a square ft. for the top grade.. So you can get 2 6'' viper bonnet stripes and pin stripes out of a 15'' wide roll. My cost for it would be about $6-$8 or less plus a couple of minutes time. yet places sell them for $50. No more then it really costs every wheel manufacture should give away a sticker or two with every set of wheels sold in hopes that you will put it on your car for the free advertisement..

Those are actually AC Cobra headers (2-pc.). Velocity stacks are mounted on top of the carberator(s) to increase air flow intake.

Ya I would like to apologize for side tracking the thread LOL... i just had to vent (been to many autox and track days... where "racers" would paint the names of their ultra high performance summer tires)... but i agree when done right... they can look trick

i guess havent really looked into it, but I can't think of any tire that has white lettering that would be worth putting on the mini ...

They were joking about the 2 trees in the background, kinda, sorta looking like they are coming out of the hood like velocity stacks..

Ooops. So very sorry. I was not paying any attention to the trees in the background. The car had my 100% attention.
