Mini Repair Shop in South East AL?

Last month I had the Inspection 1 performed on my '04 Cooper S (35xxxmi) at MINI. A few days later, I noticed oil drips beneath the car. Returned to MINI, expecting they'd fix it no charge. Instead I left with a laundry list of recommended repairs totaling $4k. I'm looking to find a more affordable repair shop & purchase the parts myself. Can anyone recommend a repair shop in SE Alabama or FL panhandle?

Was this at MINI of Pensacola? I've never been there but I've only heard good things about that dealership.

It was at Virginia Beach MINI. I had the service done while on a visit back home. I considered the Pensacola MINI. It's about a 2 hour drive for me. Wondering if there are closer alternatives.

VB2AL,

Sorry, I don't know of any MINI specialists in the Wiregrass, but you can Google "MINI Cooper repair" + your city and see what turns up. You can also go to <http://www.cartalk.com/mechanics-files> to see if they're listed among the Car Talk listeners favorite shops.

Let us know if you find a place near you.

Just checking to see if you found a shop for your MINI.

Don't know of any shops near you but we have customers from AL all the time come over to Atlanta. We're happy to help.

If it's not too far, I'd take it to Way. He'll tell you straight-up what needs to be fixed and what doesn't.

Check the independent repair shop tab on the site below. There may be a shop listed near you either in SE Alabama or the Florida panhandle that might work. Good luck.
