So I have an S on order with the sport suspension. I know it has different springs and sway bars. Does anyone know if the springs will sit lower than the base suspension? If so how much? Are they just stiffer springs and will sit at same ride height as standard springs? My dealership has Paceman(s) on the lot but none with the SS option. If they do not lower the ride height, will just a set of lowering springs be required to get a lower ride height since it already has the sway bars? Or will those have to be changed to?

Lots of questions, sorry. New to Mini's, but not new to modifying vehicles.

 

sport suspension is 10mm lower than stock

 

So only 10mm, sounds like lowering springs are in my future.
Never worked on an import. Is this difficult? Any special tools required?

 

So...shocks are the same, just different springs?

If so, let me know if you want to sell those factory sport springs once you swap them out!

 

the shocks, springs and swaybars are all different between the standard and sport suspension

 

What are the spec differences? Specifically the rear sway bar?
