I did it! I ordered my Countryman All 4 today!

The waiting is going to kill me! I already sold my other car so I am going to be borrowing from family to get around.

At the last minute I dropped the Anthracite Headliner and the Gravity Carbon Black Leather. I dropped the headliner because after sitting in both I liked the lighter headliner better and I dropped the Leather seats in favor of the Leatherette as I didn't feel they were worth 1500 more and with 2 kid and 2 big dogs the Leatherette will probably wear better.

No stripes as I really want solid racing stripes that come up the bonnet and down the boot. Will have to start looking who can do that. Also need to look for tint, dealer quoted 399 for the entire car in ceramic tint, no idea if its a good price as I have not priced tint in a long time.

Nice color combo! We are with you. we pased on the stripes from Mini. They just don't look correct....stripes should be straight down the middle, front and back, and should extend the entire length of the boot and bonnet, IMO. We are looking hard at white Viper stripes. Several folks here have CM's with them and they are just outstanding.....good luck!

 

I just ordered one as well but was told the factory is off in August. Received $1600 off MSRP if this helps anyone.

 

What trim did you order? 2014?

I just placed an order for 2014 CMS. Dealer would not budge from MSRP. Classic Mini Cleveland Ohio.

My dealer knocked $500 off MSRP could not get him to budge any further.

 

Yes, I had mentioned, perhaps in another thread, that we went to the Columbus and Cincinnati dealers and neither would budge off MSRP for an ordered CMS or JCW. They must be selling extremely well in Ohio !

yea, both dealers were very nice folks, and said "Please come back and see us if you change your mind". after a week, neither of them even called to ask about a lower price to get us back in the door!

So, we slinked back into the Columbus dealer and made the deal to order a CM.......................at MSRP

 

The max discount we could get on a 2012 was $1000.

 

OL is finally showing the correct color for my MINI. Dealer slotted me in to one of their existing orders. How long until I see it move to production?

 

Finally got my order placed for 2014 Cooper S Convertible with Sport, Cold Weather, Technology with Harman Kardon and Navigation, City packages, chrome line interior and exterior, 17 inch conical spoke black wheels , automatic climate control, black headlight housing, Sport suspension, Rain Sensor and auto headlamps, retractable headlamp washers and mud flaps.

Oh Yeah piano black interior, Black Punch Carbon Leather seats, midnight black exterior and a nice blend of chrome. No stripes maybe add aftermarket

Expecting 8-10 weeks hoping for sooner to Connecticut. Looks like the dealer may have given me one of there slots as its listed as MC chili pepper red

Now the wait............hopefully will have 2 months of top down weather this fall. Then back to the truck when the snow flies.

Hobbes, I think I got something similar installed on my car by the dealer. Check out my gallery to see if that's what you want. I didn't shop around but I believe they did the front, back and sides for around $500-$550 (cant remember exact price). For me it was easier to have the dealer do it then to shop around, but I know I may have paid more than an independent shop.

They were able to do stripes, tint and the clear bra install in 2 days while I was still driving my old car. I paid about the same as you were quoted for the tint as well.

 

Your stripes look awesome! That is exactly what I want.

Not yet. Dealer is saying they will not have until end of month.

 

Consider yourself lucky. my MA told me the expected date for me to get a production number will be around Oct.

Sounds nice! I agree with dropping the leather if you have kids and dogs. I've had multiple people in my car and they all had no idea it was leatherette.

I also opted out of the anthracite headliner too so I could save a little dough even though I thought it looked cool. The main reason I did though is because I wanted the interior at night to be more illuminated and bright so I got the polar beige color line on the inner door panel and it matched perfectly with the polar beige headliner. Now the interior lighting is much brighter and noticeable inside than it is with the standard carbon black color line.

I got my tint done at the dealer as they knocked down the price a little, but I wish I had done it elsewhere because it isn't dark enough for my liking. They only had one level of tint they offered. I didn't realize it was so light.
