At the last minute I dropped the Anthracite Headliner and the Gravity Carbon Black Leather. I dropped the headliner because after sitting in both I liked the lighter headliner better and I dropped the Leather seats in favor of the Leatherette as I didn't feel they were worth 1500 more and with 2 kid and 2 big dogs the Leatherette will probably wear better..
I got the polar beige door inserts to match the beige headliner. I like the look and the interior isn't too dark for me. I have leatherette too.

I too almost went with the anthracite headliner, but am very glad I didn't get it. I love the contrast of the polar beige headliner/door inserts with the dark leatherette. I'm thinking about changing my shift boot to polar beige as well.

Called Ask Mini and they were useless. The automated system said it "In the body shop with a scheduled completion of 8/28".

Does that mean the entire car will be done 8/28? or just a portion of assembly?

Hobbes, yes the car will be complete on 8/28. Once it reaches the paint shop, it gets finished pretty quickly, usually by the next day.

Where/How did you obtain your production date?

I logged into the owners lounge, but status says "Scheduled For Production" but no other details.

OL is next to useless. Use 800-AskMini If a est completion date exists, the phone number will have it.

I ordered mine on August 19. It still says on order. This is my first Mini. I've wanted one for years. I'm so excited!!! This is also my first post on this sight. I got the All 4 Automatic. Crystal Silver with black roof and mirror caps. Black headlight casings with Xenon, white turn signals, and adaptive. I stuck with the 17" black wheels because we do get a bit of snow here in the winter (hence the All 4). Inside I got JCW Interior pkg with Champion Red LL to match the red stitching. Chrome line int, flat load floor, black panels, piano black cockpit, Loaded pkg with no nav., technology pkg., universal garage door opener, black driving lights (dealer came off of installation, and they are to be installed at the port?), mud flaps, sport antenna, and no stripes. I plan on getting custom stripes. I got the dealer to knock off $1250 from the build price. I find myself checking several times a day to see if it's moved into production. My MA said it would take about 10 weeks due to the factory taking off in August. I won't have any nails left by then, lol! My husband is already looking at cold air intakes, etc for it. Should be fun!

Congrats. Yeah, I got the black driving lights too and they were installed at the port, along with the JCw gauges.

When I ordered on 8/17, the Sales Manager gave a production date of 9/2 and an ETA of 9/26. According to an ASK MINI rep, the dealership used a previously allocated slot from 8/2, coded on the Vehicle Inquiry Report as '112-scheduled for daily'. Two days ago, the ASK MINI rep said it was scheduled for production but couldn't provide a specific date. As of this morning, the Owner's Lounge still says 'on order'.

What state are you in? Which port/VDC? I'm curious, if you don't mind.

Mine was released to the carrier on Friday the 13th. I have no idea where it is. Hearing the progress reports of others with the same release date, I'm starting to get irritated. My enthusiasm is quickly giving ground to pessimism and apathy.

I am in Arizona, so it will be dropped at the VDC in CA and then trucked over to me.
