I'm neither selling nor buying, but I thought I'd let you all know.......

I noticed on Centerline's website, http://www.centerlinewheels.com, under "wheel deals", there are some great clearance prices on a few 4x100 wheels; like silver RPMs for $224 and silver or black Excels for $188. Cheap prices for lightweight forged wheels. Check it out.

Cheers,

James

17" RPM that weighs only 13 lb and sells for $224. What a great deal!

Centerline RPM rims come in 15" (discontinued) and 17" diameters with 42mm offset in the following finishes-
Silver- old stock
White- discontinued
Anthracite- discontinued
Black pearl
Polished
Chrome
IB/W MCS with white Centerline RPM rims

Dave,
That picture looks closer to polished or chrome than silver which is more of a medium silver with clear coat.
I have the polished finish which looks like chrome which costs more and weighs 2 pounds per rim more. The polished is the normal weight.

Also I weighed my rims and found them to be closer to 14 pounds.

I went to the wheel deal part of the site and found in fine print-
1-piece, rotary forged, billet aluminum. State-of-the-art forging technology. 1200lb load rating. This wheel weighs approx 13lbs! Note: photo is of a hi-polish wheel whereas wheels offered here are painted silver resulting in a matte finish.

Thanks for the clarification! The description can be misleading sometimes! I love the looks of the chrome (polished) RPM wheels on IB/W. Someone from my local MINI club bought a set after seeing yours on the forum.

Yes, I have minihune to thank for helping with my descision. I am extremely happy with the polished version of the RPM wheels. They can be coated with a layer of brake dust and still look clean and shiny. I cahnged from white wheels that always looked dirty. Poloshed will take more maintaince than the silver painted but I think it's worth it.
Here's a closeup.

This is either a very bad picture of the RPM in white, or it is the matt silver. Either way, it shows the look without all the polish:

What about buying a set and having just the lip polished, leaving the spoked center painted silver? Might look nice, and nobody else has it. Just a thought.....

Cheers,

James

Mister_S,
Your picture is of the white Centerline RPMs most likely. There is a clear coat finish over the paint.
With the anthracite there is a clear glossy finish that is very nice and durable.

Here is my polished rim and I think sanddan's finish is nicer than mine.

The older Centerline Dominator series had some 15" and 17" rims while the new line of Centerline RPM are 17" and larger.
17x7
18x7
19x7.5
All in 4x100mm with 42 mm offset

Centerline makes other wheels like the storm in 15, 17 and larger sizes.

Centerline RPM 17x7 in White
