My MCS arrived at the dealer today -- Motorwerks MINI in Minneapolis. I'm in Seattle and won't be picking it up until Saturday.

Don't know if I should go out and mow the yard or keep scrolling through all the car ****...

Mine was ready for pickup on a Tuesday and I couldn't get off work until Friday. I understand your sick feeling. Needless to say, I was a little distracted the rest of that week. Then it started snowing like crazy Thursday night...but that's a different story.

Thats nothing, my car will arive at the dealership sometime next week and I can't go pick it up until the 20th or so... . aaaaah! Once my MINI went into production, I had this great idea of going on a hungerstrike until it showed up.

Well, I like to eat, so that lasted about 2 hours. Instead, I got another great idea to not shave until it showed up... Unfortunately for my girlfriend, this stupid idea has stuck. I have never ever ever been this shaggy before, I won't even cut my hair. I think i look like a mountain man, all grizzly and nasty. I really don't know if i can make it another 2.5 weeks.. aaaaah.

I didn't sleep a wink the night before I picked up my car, and I certainly accomplished next to nothing that entire week at work! Especially since I thought I was getting my car in January, and found out in October that I would have it within a week!

The worst thing of all was that I had an assignment due by midnight for a night class the night that I picked the car up (which of course I hadn't done), so I could hardly even drive it around until the next day...

 

No harm, no foul. Threadjacking is only illegal if done at gunpoint.

3 days to go now... Will this week ever end?
