looking for Fresnel lens for windshield

A little vinyl fresnel stick-on, what used to be marketed as "Light-In-Sight", is no longer being manufactured and nothing even close to it is on the market. Some cumbersome plastic lenses are available, but they don't suit Mini's layout very well.

Any ideas?

Looks like any that are still available on the market will soon be as valuable as bars of gold. Makes me love mine even more.

A great time for some entrepreneur to jump in and answer the demand.

Some info here.

edit: Ha! NAM won't let me post the URL of a competing website. Short version, according to OutMotoring, the manufacturer is just getting back into making them and they should be available soon-ish (but that was three months ago).

I've considered getting one of these and cutting it down.

Wonder what effect on the interior temperature the Tucson, Arizona sun would have with that when parked outside all day?

I wonder. The Light-in-Sight isn't radially symmetric, so it only expands the field of view above the horizon and a little bit to the sides. Maybe the edge of this thing would act similarly.

I have one that I'll sell to the highest bidder. $50 opening bid.

Actually have been trying to find another one on the internet for weeks now, no luck.

That's what I was thinking.
