I was looking through a european car magazine the other day and saw that Kenwood is making a set up composed of (2) 6x9 speakers with a 200 watt amp with volume control. The model is the KFC-WDA 69RC. It doesn't show up on their US site, but it does on their european one. Cost is about $250. Might be a worthwhile replacement for the rear speakers without having to go with custom enclosure. Anyone know anything about Kenwood Excelon speakers?

 

Not sure if it will fit the 6x9 opening exactly but it would be likely.

I could only get some info from german sites.
