I just wanted to share my positive experience with European Specialists in Branford, CT. I had received a few ads for them in the mail and they prominently announced "We love MINIs!" in the ad. I checked them on Angie's List (later added my won review) and found good reviews. They were formerly Swedish Specialists, but changed their name because people thought they only worked on Saabs, etc. They can read MINI fault codes and one of the folks there (I believe he's an owner) has two MINIs himself. I brought my car in for an synthetic oil change and filter, front brakes (pads and rotors) and I needed to have a rear fog light assembly replaced. I have a MINI Cooper S, 2009. The car was done sooner than predicted (they thought a part would take longer to arrive) and the price was less than a MINI dealer. Best of all, the place is 10 minutes away and the folks there are casual but professional. OH, and with enough notice (several days), they can provide a loaner car.
