Replaced BPV and black intake pipe... now issues

I am having an issue with the dreaded P2096 code and I was just trying anything at this point to get it to go away. I read some threads and some people indicated cracked intake pipes and bad BPV's can be the culprit. So I replaced them and now I have two codes P2096 and P1498. Not to mention the EML light came on. My car is a little sluggish but not bad. I can hear a hissing sound and I am assuming this is a vacuum leak I created by obviously fixing things that weren't broken. I am going to take the car apart tomorrow to see if I didn't seat the intake pipe on the green gasket that connects to the supercharger. I am also going to check to make sure the two vacuum hoses seated properly in the intake pipe as well.

I replaced the OEM BPV with a Detroit Tuned. Not sure if I should have adjusted something on the Detroit Tuned BPV.

Kind of lost here.

Any input would be greatly apprecited.

Thanks!

P1498 is unmetered air after compressor and P2096 is running lean. So basically, there's air that get sucked in that isn't calculated and making the car run lean. I had the P2096 last year and it was the driver side intercooler boot that was cracked. You should remove and inspect them for cracks. If they're ok, it can be the plastic inlet coming out of the s/c.

I replaced the intercooler boots with new OEM a few weeks ago as I originally installed the silicone boots and figured there was a good chance they were leaking. I inspected them and sure enough one of them was cracked. I cleared the code with my Rev2 app on my phone. I drove the car about 40 miles and the code came back. I then figured I would try replacing the BPV and intake tube along with the intake tube gasket for good measure. I cleared the code and then the two codes came up (2096 and 1498).

I took the car back apart today and found I cracked the green gasket on the supercharger inlet so I replaced that and slapped it all back together. I cleared the codes again and I am crossing my fingers.

The dealership swears the 2096 is being caused by burnt exhaust valves and or cracked exhaust valves on cylinders 2 and 3. They apparently do a compression leak down every time they get that code because it has been the main culprit for the 2096 on R53's. The results were:

cyl 1: 3% exhaust
cyl 2: 11% exhaust
cyl 3: 15% exhaust
cyl 4: 3% exhaust

So now I am thinking the dealership may be right and I should just go ahead and fix the issue within the cylinder head.

I'll wait to see what happens and i'll let you guys know what happens.

Cross your fingers for me!
