Have you asked your MA for a status update?

Start with your MA. I ordered mine May 18 and found it in the Owner's Lounge by May 20.

It's funny. We ordered our CMJCW on June 12 also! I was given a production number by my dealer the day we placed the order. The correct information was on the owner's lounge site within 2 days.

Now, between the lounge and my MA, I know that ours is at the port in Bremhaven waiting on a boat.

so, our updates have been very good. My MA emailed me when the car hit the paint shop, then once it was produced and being inspected(there are two of those). She then emailed me when the car had arrived at the port to wait on a boat.

Through the owners lounge I now have my VIN, and am checking the logistics status of the shipping company that loads and sails the cars to the US. Unfortunately, my VIN is still not on the manifest. But our production was completed on 6/26, and from what I have seen with others there can be about a 2 week wait at the port for a ride across the pond....than another 10-14 days at sea, then 3-5 days at the US port.....still another 4 weeks or so for us I suspect...

good luck!

Jeff

Note too it can be on the boat and you not know for 3-4 days. My Countryman didn't show up on the Tiger's manifest until June 18, 4 days after it sailed from Bremerhaven.

I ordered my countryman jcw on 6/1/2013, and production began on 6/19/2013, and finished production on 6/26/2013.

My current mini owner lounge status showing awaiting transport.

the date of production begin will be depending on your dealer's available build slot date. My dealer told me that the next available slot for them was on the third week of June when I order mine on June 1st., which turns out that my jcw starting its production on 6/19/2013.

Ask your MA about your order status, they will provide much more useful details for your order than OL.

Wow, being on the west coast, you have a MUCH longer transport time....almost a month based on your sig! So do they go through the Panama Canal to get to the west coast port I assume, or do they dock on the east coast and truck it cross country?

Luckily, mine is docking in Baltimore.

Panama Canal. On the ship with a few thousand BMWs, Minis and probably 2 Rolls Royce's. it went through the canal yesterday. I took some screen caps from a camera they use for the web and made a quick video.

I guess it is better than going around South America, but man it is so much longer than the east coasters have to endure.

It's a wonder some of you guys don't ask to move in with me. I do have two empty bedrooms in my house.

8 days on the ship to Baltimore. Dealership is a 20 minute truck ride from the port.

Ha, very nice! 8 days to Baltimore...that makes me feel a little better.

Baltimore is one of my favorite places for two reasons: The Wire, the best show EVER put on television, was filmed there, and the best Italian food in the entire country(ok, anywhere in the country I have ever been, anyway)...

it's not like picking it up at the factory, but being able to grab my car in Baltimore and drive home with it would be pretty cool...

and YOU are a serious Mini collector!

Ordered 6/24 and in production as of 7/1 (according to my MA, since I can't figure out how to log into the owners lounge with the same account info twice).

Oh yeah, Little Italy area of Baltimore, not too far from the inner harbor and has great Italian food. And I've spent a few weeks in northern Italy so I can say... it's very authentic.

Yes, nothing like a road trip to pick up a new MINI. We bought the 05 S Convertible from someone on this message board and flew out to Missouri to get it and drove it back. Quite fun !!

What can I say... my prettier half and I both love MINIs ! Introduced her to them in 2006 and she's every bit the MINI fan that I am which makes it easy to own multiple MINIs.

Hey E... the owner's lounge becomes pretty useless right away anyway. Your MA and ASKMINI are better resources until your car is at the shipping port. Then the shipping company's inquiry page and vessel tracking sites are the ticket to track your MINI.

Yeah...just annoying as it seems like a wasted resource.

the OL is good for other things. For example, you can download a copy of your owner's manual so you can read up on some of the things you'll need to know when your MINI arrives. But yeah, for tracking your MINI... not so much.

very true, I did do that very thing, in fact. downloaded the manual to start getting myself acquainted with our first Mini. To their credit they do say on the very first page that your MA will likely have more up to date and accurate information...so at least they know it's not that great !
