Painting door handles

Hello,
I am new to this forum and cars in general. I just got my mini CM and I was wondering if it was possible to paint the door handles so instead of being chrome, I could make them black? If so what paint would I use?

Painted our door handles with black Plastidip. Masked off the area with Frog masking tape, and applied very light coats until the desired affect was achieved. Highly recommend wiping down the handles with rubbing alcohol to clean the surface prior to painting for better adhesion. I am aware of the many opinions of this product, but it's durable and removable. The handles have been painted for over a year now and only minor touch up has been required.

Thanks for the info buzzsaw. Do you have the comfort access feature? Was wondering of the plastidip would interfere with it.

No that option was not available at the time. Maybe someone familiar with that feature could chime in.

I was going to say plasti-dip spray is your best bet.

They do also make a gloss clear coat plasti-dip if you want a gloss finish.
