sway bar broke, replace with...?

My Hotchkis sway bar broke at the passenger-side bend.
My MCS 2005 has Koni FSD dampers, lower rear cabmer control arms, 19mm sway bar, H-sport springs. Would you replace with the same H sport or other brand & why? ... H&S, Alta, Ireland Engineering (similar to Alta with the welded ends)?
I've done my research on NAM & the manufacturer's sites. What's your opinion?

I might try contacting Hotchkis before you go ahead on buy another bar. It might just be me, but I want to say that swaybars should be lifetime parts and shouldn't break.

+1 on contacting Hotchkis. Although I am sure it has happened before, I have been working on and around modified cars for quite a few years and have never seen or even heard of someone breaking a sway bar.

+2 on contacting Hotchkis about getting a replacement.
Since they are in Santa Fe Springs, not too far from you, you probably can work out a good deal if you are willing to go pick up a new sway bar rather than them having to ship it to you.

To answer your question about what brand:
I would stick with Hotchkis.
I have had both Hotchkis and Alta and the Hotchkis is better quality (paint and bushings).
