Adam's Car Wash & Prima Hydro/Banana Gloss

Can anyone tell me if Adam's will remove Prima Hydro and/or Banana Gloss? I know it is balanced to not remove Carnuba or "real" wax.

If it's not quite compatible, does anyone have any pairing suggestions to go with Adam's that is a similar system?

I'm interested in finding a less expensive soap to pair with Hydro/Banana, basically.

You should be fine. Why would anyone make a car wash soap that would remove either natural or synthetic wax?

I have to go out of my way to find something to strip the Prima wax and polishes when that time comes. If something inexpensive like that does it, let me know!

That's exactly what I assumed, I just didn't want to end up with a gallon of soap and a lot of extra work to use it

I've heard that regular old Dawn dish soap solution will take Prima off. I haven't quite reached the due date for trying, yet.

On the other hand, I've been using this to clean my rags and mitts:
Amazon.com: Penguin Sport Wash, 20 oz.: Sports & Outdoors Amazon.com: Penguin Sport Wash, 20 oz.: Sports & Outdoors

I had some on hand and figured it was worth a shot - if it was good enough for my 850 fill ultralight (and ultra fragile) down jacket and other tech gear it had to be good enough for mitts, and it has seemed to work well. It definitely gets all of the Hydro residue out of my microfibers. Perhaps finding a soap similar to that that will work on cars would be the key. Spray it on with a foamer so it lingers a bit and perhaps the waxes will just rinse off? One can dream

A note on the Sport Wash, it doesn't have anything in it to restore DWR. That's clever marketing. A dirty softshel with sweat or whatever gunking it's pores up will not shed water in beads even if there is a fresh DWR treatment in place. By cleaning the material without stripping the DWR treatment or leaving residue in the fabric they can claim to restore DWR. Just thought I'd throw that out there before people had red flags go off.

Don't believe that myth about Dawn detergent for a second. I used to try that and after I was done washing TWICE with that stuff, water was still beading up on my paint like crazy. I finally found something that will work... P21S Car Wash.
