Hi folks. Apologies if this has been discussed before but I tried the search function and can't find a thread on point for this.

I have a stock 2005 S model with about 50k miles that I bought used a year ago and I am thinking of replacing the spark plugs since I do not know how it was driven before I owned it. Can anyone provide a list of some decent and not crazy expensive plugs for my car? Right now I am considering the Bosch (4503) FGR7DQI Platinum IR Fusion Spark Plug but I am open to suggestions from the more experienced members of the hive. Thanks for your help.

 

I strongly reccomend NGK PLUGS.
Just be 100% sure they are the same length if other...some tables for some brands wrongly list s and non s as the same plug....result is you need a need motor...
some folks like brisk plugs...but on a gen1, they are VERY short lived...ngk platinum or iridium just work!! Not muck to be gained over decent ngk plugs, but much too loose....and always install with a tourqe wrench! !!

 

+1 NGK #3199 which is BKR6EQUP, the OEM installed plug. If you want to save $, check ROCK AUTO.

 

I'd use the stock oem plug. NGK BKR6EQUP.
