so i was installing my coils and when putting on the bolt for the tie rod with my impact wrench it snapped off. the tie rod seems to be stuck to the assembly still though. how dangerous is this and can anybody show me a diy to fix it? thank you

 

Do not drive the car.

(Had to say that)

Hammer it out, by hitting it on the sides of the knuckle where the joint is.

Remove old rod. Count turns needed to unbolt it.

Replace tie rod. Count same number of turns.

Lock jamb nut.

Get alignment if paranoid.

i assumed as much but i have yet to find a place with it in stock. am i going to have to get one from a mini dealership?

 

Shop one online as it will be cheaper if you can wait for it.

Well keep trying all AP stores and see if any can get it ASAP or go to the stearlership and hope they have one too. But the price will be high.
