Which R60 All4 exhaust

I'm getting ready to upgrade my exhaust for 2011 CMS4 and was curious which exhaust system is recommended by owners, they all see to be similarly priced $1k ish, just looking for suggestions
Cheers

If you do a search in
MINI Countryman > Modifications > Cooper S Drivetrain

you'll find a lot of discussion of various exhaust system options.

i went with the milltek DP back exhaust and am very happy with it

https://picasaweb.google.com/1043068...eat=directlink

no cutting, replaces entire system from the downpipe back
uses the stock v-band clamp and stock exhaust mounts
eliminates the resonator and second cat
no drone at any speed/rpm
63.5mm (2.5") all the way from the DP
100mm (3.9") tailpipes

the sound is lower pitched than stock and slightly louder at steady speed but does not block out the radio

much louder than stock at WOT, but not ricer loud

power comes on 800-1000 rpm lower

So where did you get this system? Did you get it from a dealer? Thanks!

be aware that any of the stock pipe that remains is 2.25" and any stock welds (ie at the flex pipe, front of and behind the resonator and second cat) are 2.125"

the milltek is 2.5" all the way from the v-band clamp back

I also had it down to Magnaflow and NM engineering , there's You Tube vids of a Magnaflow exhaust sound it's nice ,IMO. I'm in Cali so I just want to be sure I'm good with any kind of smog compliance. Mini Mania has a video of the NM engineering exhaust being installed it looks very simple and also sounds good .

The Milltek is around $1250 looks like a more complete system than Magnaflow and NM engineering maybe BMWr606 can tell us from the pictures he took if there are a number of connection points, it would seem to me you'd want to keep those to a minimum. It looks like even the tail pipes have "hose clamp" connection
