On a non-Nav Boost audio system with an iPod connected using the Mini cable, the Playlist navigation is far from ideal.

I have many 1000's of Playlists and the more Playlists you have the worse the navigation is.

What I find is that when you press "List", the display goes to the first playlist and all that I can find to do is to turn the lower **** to scroll down from the first playlist.

Questions.
1. Is there any way to scroll up from the first and reverse through the list?
2. Is there any way to quickly scroll through playlists, i.e. alphabetically?
3. Anyway to scroll from the last selected playlist?

 

Maybe you can rename your playlists with numbers or other characters so that they show in the order you want?

It is nice to have options but leads to frustrations too.

I have two Mini's. Actually mine with NAV and wife's without Nav.

For the wife's I just use a USB micro stick. Just folders. Otherwise, I think for trips I would just plug in my iPod via the 3mm plug and drive everything from the iPod.

Also depends on the year. Ours are 2013. I am not finding issues with indexing or trying the various options.

Other threads do discuss making playlists on USB drive but I have not tried it yet.
