Recently, I noticed my power steering had started to go a bit stiff sporadically. It would cut in and out when driving at moderate speeds (25-35MPH), and I was thinking, aw hell, not AGAIN..! But recently I got a letter in the mail from MINI up in NJ stating that the company has decided to extend the warranty on the R53 PS Pumps to 13 years, or 150,000 miles. When I read this I was like, WHAT?!

Well that being said I visited the dealer and sure enough they extended the warranty. I will be having the car inspected tomorrow. Is this news or am I just behind?
