$15 Boost Gauge installed.

Ok so I bought me a cheap boost gauge till I can get my Autometer ultra lite II gauges, had an unexpected alternater failure 2 weeks ago and now need tires too so these will have to do for now.

Now before anyone says anything, yes it is a Sun Pro gauge, but the are made by Snap On tools.

Ok so basicall its and Sun Pro 2in boost gauge from Autozone $14.99, mounted in a 2in piece of PVC painted black with Plasti DIp. Its mounted with one screw through the steering column upper plastic cover( will be covered anyways with the autometer boost gauge install). Works fine for now.

Pros:
Cheap
Easy install

Cons:
White faced
Pointer off a little(going to try to get an exchange)

Well tell me what you think, can't wait o replace my tires so I can buy my autometer gauges and get my 15% pully and upgrade my intercooler.

It looks great in the pics. Why does it matter what brand it is if it works properly?

I think it looks fine, the chrome bezel finishes it off nicely. Dont be in too much of a hurry to swap it save csh, what is the boost pushing around 3k?

I'm hitting little over 10psi but not sure what at 3k will have to look tonight but as you can see in the pic when the car is off it doesn't sit exactly at 0 but just below, at idle it's about 19 on the vacuum

That looks great man! Looks close to the stock gauges. I wouldn't change a thing, put the $$ into something else.no reason why the gauge should be off, where did you attach the boost line?

Ok so on the way into work tonight, I did some 4th, 5th, & 6th gear pulls and at 3k rpms its hitting around 8psi on the gauge. Is this correct? I still believe the gauge is off by 1psi or so. Going to get friend to hook up his scanner and compare them.
