R50/53 Road Trip!!
We'll be taking our MC on a road trip beginning July 1st. We're planning on leaving Minneapolis, MN and going to Colorado Springs to visit my grandma. We've got a hotel somewhere in Nebraska for the first night. After some time with my grandma, we're going to spend a day at the track with Randy from Webb Motorsports. Then we head down to the Grand Canyon and then to Vegas. After Vegas we head back home, via the south side of the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley (or is MV on the way to Vegas?? My wife's the planner
)
So I'm wondering if there's anyone who lives in between MN and CO or anywhere in between who could suggest some routes for "spirited driving".
Thanks in advance.

If you want spirited driving, bypass Nebraska, especially western NE.
Extremely boring driving. Fast though, coz there's nothing but straight, flat interstate for MILES!
Oh...1 tip. If you're taking I70 from Denver towards Vegas, about 1/2 way across Utah, there's a sign that says "No gas for 110 miles". They aren't kidding. If you don't have at least 150 miles of gas left, fill up.

So it IS true!! We heard about that from someone and thought maybe it was an Urban Legend or something. Thanks for the heads-up. I think I'll take another look at the maps and see if I can find something interesting.
Thanks for the info on your club! I'll try to look you guys up once we get there.
