Hey everyone what's going on. Just trying to get a mini club started in the Bergen county area. There's really good meets at a Starbucks in edgewater on thursday nights and I'm tired of being the only mini there. I would definitely want to have a group of other mini enthusiasts around. If anyone is interested get back to me.

 

I'd show up now and again, I used to live at 71st just off Blvd East.

I was always wary of that meet when I was there, cops seemed to swarm all the time, but that was two years ago. Has it gotten any better?

 

There still there but as long as your not doing anything stupid they won't bother you..

 

I'm in Hoboken and just picked up this 2010 Cooper S last weekend, I'd be down for a meet in the area. I drive through Edgewater every day on my commute.

 

Awesome you know not that many minis go down there and it would be cool if I could get a group of us down there

 

Well, watch the weather report and let us know what one to shoot for. Just bring some cones to save us a spot. No sense bringing more Minis if we're all over the place.

I was literally writing you an email just now.

Rain is supposed to taper off between 7 and 10. I'll probably stop by at 8 anyway and see what's there, if it's alive ill stay for an hour, if not I'll hop back to Morristown.

I don't understand the intent of your "question." Are you insinuating that since it is a fun car to drive, Mini owners should not have the desire to organize/participate in something such as a meet that may not involve driving?

I love to drive and work on cars. The R53 is a great handling car that is fun to drive. The car is not loaded with hi tech devices in the cabin, like radios and Nav systems that will be obsolete in a few years. The car has a super charger which can be modified to produce more power and sounds great. There are tons on mods you can do to this car to make it faster, handle better and even look better. I had to wait until the warranties were over to start the mods on the car but it is very fulfilling working on a car with your own hands. I hope this helps you understand why I love Mini Coopers.

No, I like to keep my MINI parked in the garage...I just like to go out and look at it....that's why it has 125000 on the clock.
