I was planning on doing this so I thought that I'd go ahead and look on ebay. Most of them say "7/04" and on and when I looked at my car, stamped on the radiator is "7/03." So would it still be possible for me to have the projector xenon's on my 04 mini? I already have xenons, but not the ones with the projector

Since you have Xenon already it is plug and play. If you had regular halogens then you needed additional items to make them work.

 

It's not a restriction but more of a note for a model change over. In 05 you started to have the FACELIFT cars. These had the newer lights as well as some other enhancements. 07/04 would be about right for the 05's to start. That would have been why they put that note in there just so people would be sure they got the right part that ORIGINALITY came on the car. As stated above they should be PnP.

 

I got a set on ebay of 05 xenon's to replace my 03 xenons. just swapped the washers onto the new ones and they plugged right in.

 

Any pics of them installed. I have a an 03 with the xenon , non projector and would love to have the projectors
