Electrical Replacement key for '05 S model.
You will have to order a replacement key from a dealer, because it must have an immobilizer smart chip coded to your car from BMW/MINI.
Some dealers charge more than others. Ask around if there is more than one dealer in your area. A key with remote will run over $200. I think a non-remote key is less than $100.

It's about $150.00 + tax for one with buttons and $50.00 for one without.
No programing needed for 05/06 but there is a initiation sequence you or your SA can
do once you have the new key and car together.
Upside to a spare without buttons....it's $100 dollars cheaper and it's ready to go.

from what I have heard it MUST come from the dealership due to the electronic chip in the key.
