With my 05, all the cup holders had rubber inserts at the bottom to cushion the aluminum pop cans. My '13 MCS Cabrio doesn't have rubber liners in any of the three cup holders. I can see the screw at the bottom of each. It looks unfinished. I've never had a car before that didn't have some sort of rubber pads in the cup holders.

Are they missing or not included?

 

My 2010 R57S does not have rubber bottoms in the cupholders.

Go to gobadges.com and look for interior items. They have very nice rubberized MINI COOPER inserts. I got 3 for around 22 bucks.

 

Same here on my 2013 MCS, I couldn't stand how they looked so I dropped some blackjack inserts into mine.

 

2013 MCS here, mine came with inserts for the front and back cup holder...

 

My 2013 MCS has liners in the front two but not in the rear one.

Not a major deal, other than my empty soda cans rattle.

 

put a wadded up paper towel in there . . .

 

I used some Toolbox drawer liner (Craftsman) cut to size. Keeps my phone, change, etc from rattling around.

 

Put the beer can between your legs. Won't rattle at all. Works for me.
