Wing Tip Extension?

Hey guys,

I have been tryin to locate a company that sells either the JSart wing tip or the Palo Uber wing tip extension for the r53. I can't find either! Anyone know where I can find this unicorn of a part?

PaloUber is gone, thankfully.

Jsart was going to make some more of these this spring, which reminds me I need to try and get in touch with him. I'll let you know if I hear anything back.

I noticed that the PaloUber CF hood scoop is available still, sounds like you are not fond of the compnay? Any reason why I shouldn't get it? I like it better than the M7 ones...

And yes please let me know if you find out how to get ahold of a JSart tip.

i emailed Jsart this afternoon, I'll let you know if/when I hear back.

As for Palo Uber, do a quick search on here. Let me know how many satisfied customers you find. Palo Uber is not so fondly remembered as the Lord Voldemort of the MINI vendors...Only way I'd buy anything from Palo Uber is if it was COD. And even then I wouldn't.

Jsart on the other hand is top notch. But I don't know if he's doing these anymore, I was after one last fall, and he told me to contact him in the spring as he was thinking about doing another batch, and that completely slipped my mind until I saw your thread.

Is it just for looks or does it do something like keep the rear window clean? I like the looks of it.

I think looks is the main reason for this mod, I guess you would need wind tunnel results for any aerodynamic benefit to be known

if i remember correctly i think i saw a thread a lloooonnnngggg while back about some one using one before and after on leguna seca and there time improved by a second or two...... a little more down force will keep your butt from flying out. sliding around does not improve time you need GRIP!

Proper downforce should help reduce lift-throttle oversteer.

I'd probably make a run of 10 and see where it goes. Maybe I'll link up with a vendor on here to sell and I'll manufacture.

I'll definitely buy one, and I am glad you will make the one with the center channel, because that's the one I want.

I'm going to work on a rear diffuser too. I think I can clean up the air out back. Also some diffusers for the scoop. Clean the air going onto the TMIC.

I have a few ideas bouncing around in my brain. Wing tip first.

OMG if you can make a rear diffuser for the R53 you would have BUYER NUMBER ONE RIGHT HERE!
