Cool Just Ordered... Still have time to change

Hello All!

I just ordered a CMA4 yesterday with the following options:

Royal Grey, black roof
Pure Red Seats/Int.
Manual trans.
Xenon w/ adaptive
Cold Weather pkg
Prem. pkg 2
Center arm rest
HK Audio
SiriusXM
Bench seat in back
Load flat
Anthracite wheels

I can still change things if I'd like and this is where you come in. Based on your own experiences, what works for you, what doesn't, etc. My biggest concern is the interior color, I originally had the light tobacco seats, but was worried everything would just be too dark with a dark exterior, interior, seats and so forth.

Please give me your $.02.

No seriously, I've had my 2006 MC paid off for a while, I'll need money. lol

i really enjoy my sport suspension over the standard suspension

i also went with the sport package to get 18" wheels

my dad bought a cms all4 after i got mine, his has standard suspension and 17" wheels, the difference is significant

... I'm in Chicago: do you think the sport suspension is a good choice? Granted that right now I do have a 2006 MINI, so I'm used to a harsher ride. I'm a big fan of the the 17s, so I'm not going to change those.

My biggest questions are (now) whether to get the sport suspension and should I have the red interior with royal grey, or order a white Countryman and get it with the red interior? (or conversely, keep the royal grey and go with a more conservative black/light tobacco interior)

PLEASE, any other input would be appreciated before the build order is finalized.

Thanks

Yeah, I'm thinking of changing to white exterior and keeping the red interior for a little irreverence. I wondering if the royal grey, with black roof, wheels, etc would be too dark.

How would you say the ride comfort/feel is with the sport suspension vs a regular MINI?

PS I hate the runflats - when I got rid of mine on my MINI it was night and day...

Sports suspension and color choice are totally subjective. You going to be running fast in to curves and taking corners? Then you might want to opt for it. Some swear it handles way better while others say its a minimal improvement in body roll, etc. Sports suspension will also lower it a little.

Have you seen the pure red seats and door color line in person or real life photos? I've seen a few in person on the royal gray..the red is more a tomato or chili red color. It goes well with the royal gray. It's def not subtle. The tobacco line is def subtle. Nice but dark and subtle.

In terms of royal gray vs white exterior color. As one who has a white CM in the driveway...that's all I see on the road. White CM everywhere. White is popular. The royal gray is a beautiful color. Classy and bada$$ rolled in to one esp with the anthracite wheels. very sharp. My gf is getting annoyed that she has a white one now.

I will add since you are going for black roof and black wheels...if you are not a fan of chrome and shiny, you might want to consider the blacked out headlight housing for $100. They look sharp.

Sport suspension is the one feature I wish I added to my CM order. I've missed the rigid ride of my 06 as well.

Thanks for the replies... So I think I'll add the sport suspension... Now, I'm just struggling with (my 1st world problem) of whether to go royal grey with light tobacco or pure red int. or go light white with red pure interior.... AHHHHHHHHH. My MA is going to receive 300 emails of me changing my mind.

There are some nice looking white ones out there. Depends on how you tweak accent colors on the exterior. The white with the red interior would look nice.

I went back and forth on color choice for mine. I ordered a true blue because I fell in love when I saw it in person. I wanted fun and not practical on this one. 3 MINIs and all 3 were practical colors. #4 not so much.

You can't go wrong with either of your choices. Either will be awesome.
