Bridgestone RE-11A

Simple Question: 2005 Mini Cooper S Hatchback. Stock 16" rims. Will 205/55/16 RE-11A's fit without rubbing?

Yes, if you have stock suspension.

205/55-16 is a little taller tire diameter than OEM at 24.9" but it will fit OK.
$139 each for RE-11A

Your other choice in Extreme summer tires thay that will fit are-

BF Goodrich Rival
225/50-16 $143 each, fits rims 6-8" wide, 23 lbs, 200 treadwear

Dunlop Direzza ZII from $138-140
200 treadwear, 22 lbs each, 205/50 or 205/55-16

Hankook Ventus R-S3
$130 each 205/55-16, 200 treadwear, 22 lbs

Suspension is stock. Koni FSD's are in the future, but no springs or anything else. Time to replace the all season tires it came with. RE-11's have been great on one of my other cars, and the 205/55 is the closest size for them to the stock 195/55's

Thanks for your help!
