Freshly Detailed

Fresh from the detailer. They do a great job and even did the engine compartment at no extra charge. Can't physically do it myself anymore so a once a year trip to the detailer is well worth it to me. Comes out looking like it came right off the showroom floor. Clay bar treatment, leather treated and cleaned, carpets shampooed, wash, wax, polish, the works.

Nice , very clean.

Black Jack Mirror caps look great with the center dual stripes. You matched the gray well.

View of brakes

NJ Mini: Actually they are bright red caliper covers. They look like a "Big Brake Kit" and really help keep the brake dust down. Fairly simple to install. Nice look.

Very nice! Do they sell those caliper covers for Cooper non-S models?

Amancuso: just looked it up on the MGP web sight. Yes, they make them for non-S models. They are not cheap but they sure look good.

Just curious, how much does the MINI dealership charge for detailing? I'm shopping around as its time for a fresh detail both in and exterior.

Every 4 months a detailer comes by and do all our cars, they all look brand new and it is easy to sell later.

I don't have mine done at the dealer. I have it done at the car wash in Derry next to the Police Station. $150 for complete detail. Inside outside and engine compartment.

Mine is an independent detailer, last time he charged me 250 for everything, because i wanted a wax from Swissvax, which increases the price by 50 bucks.

Picking up my MINI today! Getting a new car detail done on Wednesday with Swissvax! Total $385. It's not cheap, but nothing in Dallas is.

Tex6: Best of luck with the new car. It's a great feeling when you drive it off the lot. Need pics.
Just finished using armor-all on the engine bay. Looks good. (As good as it can with 82,000 miles on it. ). Wish it would look as good as my '08 128i convertible Bimmer. It only has 22,000 miles it.

Who is your detailer in Dallas? I have a friend in Plano and I would like to gift her a car detail.

Here's the link jns2001: http://www.detailwerkz.com/

Brian Hare is the owner. He did an amazing job on my 545i. It needed some serious paint correction work, the car looked like new. He has both a shop and a mobil service. Hey tell your friend he was referred by the guy getting the new car detail done on his JCW if he would please. I like to catch a little price break if I can get it. Thanks!

Ok. I can see why you might have some less than perfect weather. I hear it rains quite often up there.
