Depends on what your intentions are. Lowering? Use Koni Yellow. Staying stock height but want a great shock? Koni Fsd.

Want to go real low. Coilovers.

+1 on the FSD (Frequency Selective Dampers)
While the rear strut assembly is broken down, might as well drop the sub assembly and slide in a 19 or 22 MM adjustable sway bar as well.

Plus two on FSDs. Very good value for the money.

What non-adjustable shock if lowering? Daily driver.

The Koni Yellows are designed for use with lowering springs & have adjustable dampening.
I don't know of an actual adjustable shock for our cars except a coilover.

How much are you lowering?

KONI FSD's work great with Koni Sport springs and that's low enough to close up those wheel gaps. (combo I'm currently running) But I wouldn't recommend them with other lowering prings

JCW shocks seem to work well with lowering springs but I wouldn't go buy JCW and lowing springs together.

Bilstein sports are good but tend to be spendy.
